1.Bias Tugal Beach or Secret beach in Padang Bai: Bias Tugal Beach, also known as Pantai Kecil or Secret Beach, which has recently been renamed “white sand beach” on Google Maps.
Mostly, there are big waves here, but in the morning it can be calm enough for swimming. Along the edges of the beach are volcanic mounds, which contain natural pools filled with seawater. There are also several cafes on the beach offering inexpensive dishes. Souvenir sellers are not often seen, possibly because accessing the beach is relatively difficult. Note that during the peak tourist season (June-August), there may be more people than usual. How to get there: The village of Padang Bay is located on the southeast side of the island. In Padang Bay, you can immediately see three beaches: Bias Tugal Beach, Blue Lagoon Beach, and Kusamba Beach (with black sand). There is also a port. Nearby attractions include the Goa Lawah cave temple, the traditional village of Tenganan, the hill temple of Pura Andakasa, and the salt mines.
2. White sand beach or Virgin beach (also known as Pantai Pasir Putih) in Amlapura: White sand beach (old name) or Virgin beach (new name) is the most picturesque beach in Bali. It is a cozy, kilometer-long lagoon with turquoise water and silky white sand.
You can swim on the left side of the beach, while the right side has a coral bottom. The beach is surrounded by palm trees and hills on both sides (with a wonderful viewing platform Bukit Asah). On the left side of the beach, there are many cafes and loungers. Loungers are free, but it’s advisable to buy something at the cafe. On the right side of the beach, there are fishing boats and just an empty coast where you can have a cozy picnic under the trees or on the rocks.
By the way, the boatmen offer to take you to an island with a lonely tree. Agree, it’s an interesting adventure 🙂 Waves are common here, but calm can also occur. 3. Keramas and Masceti black sand beach. I told you about the picturesque strip of beaches with black sand. I consider these beaches very beautiful, so I confidently add them to my list of “Best beaches in Bali”.
Masceti Beach (Pantai Masceti) is situated between the villages of Sanur and Padang Bai (Google coordinates: -8.600263, 115.335159). The longest and most uninterrupted stretch of black sand beaches in Bali runs along this area, comprising the primary beaches of Purnama, Saba, Keramas, Masceti, Lebah, and Kusamba.
4. Gunung Payung beach
“Gunung” translates as mountain, and “Payung” is the name of this mountain.
Here the sand is white! Soft and fluffy, it’s so pleasant to walk on. There are some stones and shells here and there. The seabed is pleasant and there are rocks, but they are visible. During low tide, there are no waves and you can even swim, even with children.
5. Melasti Beach
Melasti Beach is located on the Bukit Peninsula, almost to the south. The sand on the beach is soft, velvety, white and very cozy. It’s nice to sit and lie on it
